SHANTAPRABHU PRASHALA AT PANDHARPUR

Shantaprabhu Prashala at Pandharpur

"Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach him to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime."

Children are the future of a nation. For an emerging and developing country like India, the development of underprivileged children holds the key to the progress of the nation itself. Education for underprivileged children across topics like healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights issues is the ultimate solution towards a better life.

Education has always been close to Dadasaheb's heart (D.P. Naiknavare). A lack of proper educational facilities at Ajansond near Pandharpur had severe social repercussions. Roping in local villagers, Dadasaheb set up the "Shanta Prabhu Shaikshanik Va Samajik Vikas Mandal" and established the Shanta Prabhu Prashala.

Today, it has evolved into a higher secondary school providing the resident of Ajansond and surrounding areas with the best educational facilities on par with schools in Pandharpur and Solapur.

Moible Creches

Mobile Crèches

"While all the big developers focus solely on providing excellent facilities to their buyers, we carry our social responsibility initiatives to the construction worksites.

In order to take care of the workers children, mobile crèches are set up on the site through a strategic tie-up with an NGO named Mobile Crèches. These crèches provide the children with food, elementary education and medical care."

Kushal

Kushal

As part of its strategy to train and empower people with permanent skills, thereby enabling them to earn their livelihood for days to come. CREDAI, in association with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), has set up a job linked vocational training centre that helps construction workers to learn while they earn. Our Director, Mr. Ranjit Naiknavare, as the Vice Chairman, of this trust, is actively involved in this cause.

This programme has done wonders for the construction industry. Workers in the industry have earned skills that have helped them progress faster and earn better. Contractors who have a skilled workforce can produce more with less. Developers now have construction sites where wastage is minimal, construction quality is high and customers are content.

Within a short span of time, Kushal has received wide acclaim. This programme has already received prestigious national as well as international recognition

CONCERN INDIA FOUNDATION

Concern India Foundation

We at Naiknavare believe in children regardless of their age, gender, circumstances, race and disability.

Hope, Trust, and Innocence - this is what one expects to see in the eyes of a child. When these signs of childhood are replaced by betrayal, hunger, fear and suspicion, serious action is required to make the society a better place for children to live in. Naiknavare has partnered in this transformation through the ""Inter NGO Sports Meet for Children”. With the help of Seasons, our hospitality division, we have been sponsoring free lunch at this event for the past three years.

The Inter NGO Sports Meet is an athletic meet for 400 underprivileged children from 16 different NGOs that work with children from ages 8 to 16. This athletic meet in Pune has been taking place for five consecutive years. This meet aims to instil a spirit of competition and sportsmanship in children and push them to challenge themselves and surpass their limitations. It's also an opportunity for NGOs to interact with each other. All the participants are provided with sports kits (t-shirts, socks, shoes, caps), trophies, medals & certificates, breakfast, lunch & mid-afternoon snacks, medical assistance, gifts, etc. Organised by Secure Giving, the event has the Athletics Federation of India (PUNE) as its technical partner.
